A dark ruby red with a rich palette from Alvaro Bueno in Ribeiro, Spain. This is an elegantly styled wine with an outstanding volume, grip and length with hints of mint, black cherry and raspberry. Sameirás Tinto is made from a blend of Souson, Caino, Brecallao and Ferron grapes, grown using traditional sustainable methods.
The Adega Sameirás vineyard has developed a reputation for high quality wines using expertise handed down through the generations. The owner, Antonio Cajide, learned from his grandfather to ‘listen to the vines’ to truly know when they needed to be pruned. Antonio uses a traditional technique in which branches are tied with wicker and the shoots with raffia which then biodegrades to become part of the soil after use.
