Il Grigio Gran Selezione is a blend of 80% Sangiovese and 20% indigenous red grapes, vinificated in steel and aged 24 months in wood. On the nose is elegant and wide, red berries with a nice flowery note of violets. The palate is intense, well balanced with fruity, tannins and acidity. Long lasting finish.
The Chianti Classico area is probably one of the most known rural area in the world, defined as long ago as 1716, with an iconic symbol, the “black rooster”. San Felice estate has always been innovative and creative, predicting new trends and creating new styles. Also a strong believer of indigenous grape such Sangiovese, the winery had always promoted and supported the territory and was the first in the area to produce wines coming from a specific vineyard (aka Cru).
