Brunello Di Montalcino Campogiovanni
Top 4% wine in the world
Blend: 100% Sangiovese
From: Italy, Brunello Di Montalcino DOCG
By: Tenuta San Felice
This marvellpus Sangiovese is inificated in steel and aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 36 months, then 12 month in the bottle itself. The bouquet is complex and intense, raspberries, blackberry jam, leather and sweet tobacco. The palate is wide, smooth and with a very long lasting finish of balsamic notes and rosemary.
The Chianti Classico area is probably one of the most known rural areas in the world, defined as long ago as 1716, with an iconic symbol, the “black rooster”. The San Felice estate has always been innovative and creative. Anticipating the new trends and creating new styles. As a strong believer of indigenous grapes such as Sangiovese, the winery has always promoted and supported the territory and was the first in the area to produce wines from a specific vineyard (aka Cru).
Taster’s review “Textbook aromas of cherries, leather, prunes, violets. Concentrated fruits on its dense, satin-like texture yet light on its feet wrapped around by vibrant acids, velvety tannins. This packs a punch Viva Italia!”
Vivino users rate it a top wine with a stunning 4.1!
